John Daniel Luff, 74, of Bonneau, retired minister, and husband of Rosalinde Hood Luff, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012, in a North Charleston hospital.
Dan was born December 20, 1937, in Columbia, a son of John Paul Luff and Pearl Anderson Luff.
A graduate of Berkeley High School and of Columbia Bible College, he had served in the U.S. Air Force, and retired from the Food Stamp Division of Department of Social Services. He was presently employed with Carolina Auto Auctions and was a member of Victory Baptist Church and ICMP.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son - Ken Luff of Bonneau; 2 daughters - Karen Luff of Orlando, FL; and Paula Luff of Bonneau; 3 grandchildren - Taylor Luff; Kendra Luff and Mekinley Earhart; and a brother - Bob Luff and his wife, Diane, of Charleston. He was preceded in death by a brother - Tom Luff.
His funeral service will be held in Victory Baptist Church, Friday afternoon, October 26, 2012, at 3 o'clock. Interment will follow in Bonneau Baptist Cemetery, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL of Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Thursday evening October 25, 2012, between 6 and 8 o'clock.
