John W. Lee, 46, of Ladson, died Monday, November 16, 2009, at Hospice Center of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant.

John was born Decemter 17, 1962, in Bedford, England, the son of Kenneth Eugene Lee, Jr., and Christina Janet Caves Lee.

Surviving are his mother of Ladson; children - Nicholas Brumfield of Port Charlotte, FL.; Megan Lee of Ladson; and Bradley Lee of Ladson; 3 brothers - James (Jimmy)Lee; Kenneth E. Lee, Jr.,; and Frankie Lee; 3 sisters - Teresa Lee-Strickland; Linda Jackson; and Joanna Singley; a granddaughter - Skylar Grace Kendall; 11 nieces and nephews - Brandon Jakobsen; Amer Harbiston; Jamei Lee; Faith Harbiston; Brittney Lee; Christopher Singley; Katie Harbiston; Christina Parker; Brooke Burbage; Blake Lee; Danielle Lee; and his dog, Tobie.

John was an avid NASCAR fan and he enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

His funeral service will be at 11 o'clock Friday morning, November 20, at Russell Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 - 8 P.M. Thursday.
