Joe Dennis

Joe Williams (Billy) Dennis, 82 of Bonneau, widower of Margaret Holmes Dennis, passed away on Sunday, May 31 at the Medical University of South Carolina.



Mr. Dennis was born on December 14, 1926, in Berkeley County. He was the son of Walter Dennis and Annabell Thornley Dennis. He was a graduate of the WillGray School in Columbia, SC and was a retired heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of the Rehobeth Methodist Church in McBeth, SC.



Surviving are his children: William S. Knotts of Moncks Corner, Patsy Boykin and her husband, Phil, of Camden, Charles Knotts of Tennessee, Smokey Dennis of Bonneau, Kathy Driggers and her husband, Willard, of Ladson; Two brothers, Geroge Dennis of McBeth and Junior Dennis of Macedonia; Two sisters, Annabell Creech of Edisto and Dolly Jean Wells of Columbia; Ten Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren.


Mr. Dennis' funeral service will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evening, June 3, at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service.
