Vivian Jane Wiley Fairchild, affectionately known as Jane, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2024, in her hometown of Moncks Corner, where she was also born on September 21, 1940, to her loving parents, Steven Harvey Wiley Sr. and Tula Baker Wiley.
Jane's life was one of unwavering dedication to her family and work. She became a cherished member of the Berkeley Manufacturing team where she worked diligently for over 20 years. Later, Jane brought her commitment and enthusiasm to Subway, enriching the establishment with her service for another two decades.
Jane found joy in the simple pleasures of reading and watching television. She had a particular fondness for cooking shows, which complemented her love of cooking and undoubtedly made her a favorite in family gatherings.
She leaves behind a legacy through her four children, Rachel Denny, Joe Fairchild, Cecil Fairchild and his wife Bonnie, and Matthew Fairchild. Jane's memory will also be cherished by her nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She will be remembered by her brother George Wiley, and sisters Libby Gaskins with her husband Gene, and Sarah Hare and her husband Davey.
