James Albert "Jack" Lusk

October 27, 1928 — December 10, 2012

James "Jack" Albert Lusk,of Moncks Corner, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012, at Trident Medical Center.

Jack was born May 2, 1934, in Charleston, a son of Frank Vincent Lusk and Elizabeth Haupt Lusk.

He had served for 8 years in the National Guard and was very active in the First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner where he was a member. Jack loved participating in all aspects of his children and grandchildren's lives and he will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Ruth Hart Lusk; a son – James Kevin Lusk and his wife, Jennifer, of Moncks Corner; 2 daughters – Laurie Ann Lusk and Tracey Lusk Gianini, both of Moncks Corner; 6 grandchildren – Justin Bradley Robinette and his fiancé, Maria McCown; AnnaLeigh Hart Robinette; LeighAnna Ruth Causey; Gracen Elizabeth Lusk; Kameron Logan Gaskins and Grant Robinson Lusk; 2 brothers – Frank Vincent Lusk and his wife, Delores, of Columbia; and Jimmy Kramer of Jennings, FL; 2 sisters – Fay Robinson of Lake City, FL; and Betty Jean Adams of Jennings, FL; brother-in-law – Lamar Hill of Jennings; sister-in-law- Janie Alexander Lusk of Whitmire; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother – Frederick Earl Lusk and a sister – Patricia Kramer Hill.

His funeral service will be held in First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner,Wednesday afternoon, December 12, 2012 at 3 o'clock. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery directed by Russell Funeral Chapel of Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at First Presbyterian Church from 2 o'clock until the hour of service.

The family expresses special thanks to Trident Medical Center 4th Floor Staff; Life Care of Charleston Rosewood Wing; Charleston Cancer Center Staff; Trident Cancer Center and Health South Staff for their loving care to Jack and all our family.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner Youth Fund, 419 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, S. C. 29461.
