James T. "J.T." Craig, 86, of Moncks Corner, widower of Ruth Stoudemayer Craig, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012, in a Moncks Corner hospital.
James was born September 28, 1925, in Sumter, the son of Charles James Craig and Clarice Reardon Craig.
He was a retired pipefitter and maintenance supervisor with West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. A member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, he had served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are a daughter - Rhonda Craig of Moncks Corner; a son - James Moody Craig and his wife, Barbara, of North Charleston; and 2 grandsons - James M. Craig, Jr., and John M. Craig, both of North Charleston.
His funeral service will be Wednesday morning, August 15, 2012, in St. Michael Lutheran Church, at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at St. Michael Lutheran Church from 10 A.M., until the hour of service on Wednesday.
