Jackie (Player) Oltmann

Jacqueline Player Oltmann, 75, of Moncks Corner, first married to the late Troy D. Tanner, wife of George J. Oltmann, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023.

Jackie was born July 26, 1947 in Charleston County, the daughter of late Chalmers H. Player and Louise Holladay Garnett.

As a longtime member of the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church, Jackie had remained active and always involved when able. She and George had enjoyed travelling together, often on cruises and long road trips. Her major devotion in life was her family, which she cared lovingly for and was always delighted to participate in any family activities.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two children- Tracy D. Tanner and Troy Dennis Tanner, Jr(Koleen) and two stepchildren- Angie Polk(Eason) and Brad Oltmann(Mia); eight grandchildren- Melanie Lanier(Allan), Kayla Howard(Brandon), Tanner Flood, Abby Tanner, Chandler Polk, Olivia Polk, Hana Oltmann and Anderson Oltmann; two great granddaughters- Ella Way Lanier and Mollie James Lanier. She is also survived by her Aunt- Rae Sult and many cousins; she was predeceased by parents and late husband Troy D. Tanner.

Graveside services will be held in Berkeley Memorial Gardens, Monday May 22, 2023 at 11 AM. Interment will follow, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
