Jack Lewis

September 9, 1925 — April 16, 2011

Jack Lewis, 85, of Moncks Corner, retired millwright, widower of Edna Dean Lewis, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, in a Charleston hospital.

He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of First Christian Church of Moncks Corner.

Surviving are his children: Lyn Lewis and her husband, Cliff Altfeld, of Tucson, AZ; Betty White and her husband, William, of Loxahatchee, FL; Jack E. Lewis and his wife, Pat, of Moncks Corner; Deborah Brase and her husband, Ron, of Moncks Corner; Kim Lewis and his wife, Janie, of Augusta, GA; Michael Lewis of Sacramento, CA; Janet Ledford and her husband, David, of Charleston; Melanie McDonald and her husband John, of Mt. Pleasant; and Donna Crolley and her husband, Jerry, of Pinopolis; 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Jack was held Tuesday morning, April 19, 2011, at 11 o'clock in First Christian Church of Moncks Corner.
