Isa A. Dehay

DeHAY, Isa Isa Blanche Austin DeHay, 88, of Moncks Corner, widow of Henry Furman DeHay, died Sunday in a local nursing home. Her funeral service will be at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery at Cross. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner, 112 E. Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Mrs. DeHay was born February 27, 1920, at Cross, a daughter of Judson David Austin and Blanche Metts Austin Rourke. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner, where she rocked the babies in the nursery for many years. She retired from Piggly Wiggly after more than 40 years. Mrs. Isa was an avid baker and seamstress and always enjoyed working in her yard. Surviving are two daughters, Zada Tanner of Pinopolis and Linda Bodiford and her husband James of Moncks Corner; three grandchildren, Lael Ford and her husband Dewey of Moncks Corner, Kevin Mizzell and his wife Patience of Pinopolis, Lacey Brabham and her husband David of Moncks Corner; five great grandchildren, Raelee Brabham, Ashton Brabham, Evan Mizzell, Jalyn Ford and Brant Ford.
