Helen Murray Mckelvey

Helen Murray McKelvey, 83,of Charlotte formerly of Moncks Corner, wife of Jervey A,
McKelvey, died Sunday at a North Carolina hospital.


Mrs. McKelvey was born August 2, 1926, at Charleston, a daughter of Harrison Murray
and Lee Smith Murray.


Mrs. McKelvey was a 1944 graduate of Cross High School. She was a member of Grace
Community Church.


Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son - Mark McKelvey and his wife, Amy, of
Matthews, N.C.; 3 grandsons - Caleb McKelvey; Zack McKelvey and Brendan Rose;
sister-in-law - Marjorie Ann Hill; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.


Her funeral service will be at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, August 12, 2009, at RUSSELL
FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Wassamassaw Baptist Church
Cemetery. Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday
evening
