Heinrich George Ruediger

Heinrich George Ruediger, 80, of St. Stephen, husband of Fay Brady Ruediger, passed away Thursday June 4, 2020 at his residence.

Heinrich was born October 4, 1939 in Bohlitz, Germany, a son of George Bruno Ruediger and Gertrud Elizabeth Ruediger.

A loving husband of 55 years to Mrs. Fay, Heinrich was a devoted father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a retired iron worker with local 601, as well as a retired general mechanic with Westvaco. Heinrich was a member of Chapel of the Holy Spirit who enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and taking cruises with his wife. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son- David Ruediger and his wife, Lisa, of Moncks Corner; three grandchildren- Savannah Ruediger Denman and her husband, Jadon, of Moncks Corner; Ashlyn Ruediger of Moncks Corner and Nathan Ruediger of Wichita Falls, Tx; a great grandson- Jay Denman. In addition to his parents Heinrich was predeceased by 12 siblings.

Due to the current COVID-19 rules of social distancing, the family will be having a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 526 College Park Road, Ladson, SC
