Harvey Cain Richardson, 76, of Moncks Corner, husband of Frances Cannon Richardson, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014, in a North Charleston hospital.
Harvey was born October 7, 1937, in Mullins, S.C., a son of Edward Clyde Richardson and Mary Byrd Richardson.
He was retired as a finishing superintendent with Georgia-Pacific and had been employed with Central True-Value for a number of years. Harvey was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church. A graduate of McClenaghan High School, he had served as a member of the Army National Guard and was a Mason.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are their daughters – Debra Lynn Tester and her husband, Robert, of Sayre, PA; Ann R. Lofton and her husband, Wayne, of Macedonia; and Amy R. Adams and her husband, Tim, of Moncks Corner; grandchildren – Arlene Vaughn; Bobby “Bo” Martin;
Ashley Martin and wife, Heather; Wayne Lofton, Jr. and wife, Crystal; Kimberly L. Williams and husband, David; Jack Adams; Mary Kate Adams; Luke Adams; and Ava Grace Adams; and 11 great grandchildren; 2 sisters – Margaret Malphrus and Betty Orvin; 4 brothers – Billy Richardson; Allen Richardson; Jimmy Richardson; and Daniel Richardson. He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters – Joan Bragg and Yvonne Jones; and a brother – Charles Richardson.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, January 15, 2014, at 11 o’clock in St. Michael Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel between 6 and 8 o’clock Tuesday evening, January 14, 2014.
