Greg was born December 24, 1962 in Summerville, SC. He was the baby of the family and for most of his life, celebrated his Christmas Eve birthday with one of his mother’s famous caramel or red velvet cakes. He graduated from Berkeley High School and completed an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering at Trident Technical College, finishing with a 4.0 GPA. He went on to work in this field in several large industrial settings, where he was known for his ability to “fix anything”.
Greg lived life fully and was blessed by his 39 year relationship with wife Amanda. He was a devoted and loving husband, the love of Amanda’s life. They began dating while still in high school. Greg and Amanda shared a love of animals and were loving “parents” to a series of labs, including the late Dixie and Sugar, two of their fur babies. They enjoyed their home on the lake in Pimlico and spending time on the water or frolicking with their dogs.
