Gertrud Volker Antley

Gertrud Adelheid Volker Antley, 81, of Moncks Corner, widow of Don R. Antley, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Antley was born August 26, 1933, in Hordt, Germany, the daughter of Nikolaus Volker and Katherine Kohler Volker.

Surviving are two daughters - Marion A. Felkel and her husband, Brian, of Moncks Corner; and Kathy Overbay and her husband, Jeff Smith, of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren - Tina Wilson Koyama of Japan; Melissa Wilson Rivera; and Christopher Daniel Wilson of Moncks Corner; two great grandchildren - Nathan Reed and Amber Wilson; three sisters Marianne Arbogast of Germersheim; Rosa Weisberot and her husband, Vinzens, of Hainfeld; and - Elisabeth Ritthaler of Mutterstadt; sister-in-law - Marianne Volker of Lingenfeld; and brother - Egon Volker and his wife, Hildegard, of Leiersheim.

Her funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Thursday morning, July 9, 2015 at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
