Geraldine Marie Thaman

Geraldine Marie Thaman, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed from this life on December 11, 2023, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Born on March 9, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky, Geraldine lived a full and compassionate life marked by her dedication to her family and her service to her community.

Geraldine, affectionately known by those close to her simply as "Geraldine," was the daughter of the late Robert Joseph Thaman and Gladys Jeanette Feldhouse. She is survived by two daughters, Colleen M. Kendrick of Moncks Corner, and Connie A. Carr, along with her husband Darin, of Lexington, Kentucky. Her son, Hogan Kindrick, and his wife Jill, of Dayton, Ohio. Geraldine's love extended to her grandchildren, Allison Carr, Joshua Carr, Blair Kindrick, and Gunner Kindrick. Her sister, Carol A. Thaman of Moncks Corner. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Joseph Thaman Jr.

Professionally, Geraldine had retired as a Food Supervisor for the Department of Corrections.

Above all else, Geraldine loved being a mother, grandmother, and sister. Those who knew her would describe her as loving, kind, and thoughtful—a beacon of light bringing joy and comfort to those around her.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at a later date in Erlander, Kentucky, where friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable woman. Geraldine's memory will continue to inspire and bless all who had the privilege of knowing her.
