Geraldine (Lynn) Grubb

Geraldine Lynn Grubb, 79, of Moncks Corner, SC, wife of Norman B. Grubb, Jr., passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Geraldine was born on March 23, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Cecil Lynn and Ida Perdue Lynn.

Geraldine was in the transportation industry, having worked as a bus driver for Greyhound for 25 years, making sure passengers got to their destinations safely. She was a lover of dogs, especially pugs, and she spent many years raising pug puppies, improving bloodlines, and watching them become cherished pets in other loving homes. She enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, and aggravating her family every chance she had. Geraldine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Geraldine was married to Norman for 22 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons- Michael Wayne Hickman, and his wife Edna of Beach Grove, IN; James Francis Hickman III, of Indianapolis, IN; a stepson-Bruce Grubb and his wife Bertie of Hinton, WV; a stepdaughter-Elizabeth Meadows and her husband Beacher, of Talcott WV; six grandchildren- Daphne Arnold, Dustin Hickman, Lindsey Hall, Gabriel Olzewski, Jonah Olzewski, and Jacob Olzewski;  her great-grandson Jamie Hickman and eight other great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by a daughter-Doretta H. Olzewski.

Her Memorial service will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel, on Thursday afternoon, September 28, 2023, at 6:30 pm, Directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.  The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 5:30 until the hour of service. Russell Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Grubb family.
