Gerald Edward Murphy

Gerald E. Murphy, 83, of Bonneau, widower of Eythel I. Hawley Murphy, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016.

He was born August 28, 1932, in Dahlgren, Virginia, a son of Algie Bernard Murphy and Lillian Rose Lawrence Murphy.

Gerald served in the US Army and retired from Sears after 35 years as a repair technician.

Surviving are a son- John Murphy of Bonneau and his fiancé, Kim Hunter; a daughter- Debbie M. Franker and her husband, Robby, of Moncks Corner; a granddaughter- Heather Murphy of Orlando, Fla.; a grandson- Zachary Franker of Moncks Corner; a sister- Joan M. Hofman of Franklin, NC.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Susan Landes for her care and patience during these past two years.

His graveside service will be held in Plantation Memorial Garden, Saturday morning, July 16, 2016, at 11 o'clock.
