Frederick Carson

Donald Frederick Carson, 49, of Bonneau, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on September 5, 2015. He went to be with the Lord and with his loving father, Kit Carson.

Frederick was born April 15, 1966 in Berkeley County, the son of Kit Carson and Lila Mixon Carson.

He was the retired co-owner of Carson’s Auto Parts. Frederick enjoyed being called upon by those in need because he cared so much about people and always wanted to be of help.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Macedonia; are his daughter – Brittany Gaskins of Moncks Corner; his son – Brandon Carson and his wife, Katherine, of Moncks Corner; his sister – Paula D. Carson of Macedonia; two grandchildren – Shannon Gaskins, Jr. and Tirzah Carson; a nephew – Kenneth “Tiger” Alfieri; and special friend – Stacey Myrick.

His funeral service will be held at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, September 9, 2015, at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel for one hour prior to the service, between 3 and 4 o’clock.
