Frances (Finklea) Tracy

Frances Finklea Tracy, 89, of Macedonia, wife of the late David Hull Tracy, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Frances was born October 27, 1932, in Berkeley County, South Carolina, a daughter of Cole Adair Finklea and Gladys Ward Finklea.

Mrs. Frances was an alumna of Macedonia High School, and a member of the State Championship basketball team. She loved college football, including both Clemson and Carolina teams, and enjoyed quilting, reading and gardening. Frances was a life-long member of Providence Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the church choir. She was an amazing, faithful servant of the Lord.

Surviving are her 6 children- David “Mike” Tracy and his wife, Melissa of Goose Creek; Mickie Tracy of Macedonia; Marcel T. Mulready of Macedonia; Danny Tracy and his wife, Keely of Macedonia; Damon Tracy and his wife, Anne Marie of Pinopolis; Darla T. Gibbs and her husband, Steven of Macedonia; a sister- Lemyra F. Poole of Macedonia; 11 grandchildren- Christina Gruber and her husband, Matt; David Tracy and his wife, Ashley; Alex Tracy and her husband, Ebbie; Cole Tracy; Chase Burbage and his wife, Elizabeth; Courtney Tracy; Taylor Tracy; Devon Mills and her husband, Travis; Savannah Tracy; Steven Gibbs and his wife, Sarah; Justin Gibbs; 7 great-grandchildren- Matthew Gruber; Julie Gruber; David Tracy; Avery Burbage; Kensley Gibbs; Adleigh Gibbs; Wyatt Gibbs. She was predeceased by her husband and grandson, Jordan Wyndham.

Her funeral service will be held at Providence Baptist Church, Saturday morning, November 20, 2021 at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock on Friday, November 19, 2021.
