Floyd Malcom "Mack" Wilson, 73, of St. Stephen, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012, in a North Charleston hospital.
Mack was born February 8, 1939, in Bamberg, S.C., a son of Floyd A. Wilson and Lucille Cooner Wilson.
He was retired from Georgia-Pacific as a production supervisor and had served in the U.S. Coast during the Korean Conflict. Mack was a member of the American Legion.
Survivng are his wife, Lois Lail Wilson; 2 daughters - Lucinda Lee Anderson of California; and Marilyn Weissman of Bonneau; 4 sons - Floyd M. "Mack" Wilson, Jr and is wife, Carla, of Moncks Corner; Charles A. "Buddy" Wilson and his wife, Debra, of St. Stephen; Kenneth M. Wilson of W.VA; Albert J. "A.J." Wilson and his wife, Wendy of Stephen; a brother Thomas V. Wilson and his wife, June, of Moncks Corner; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his former wife - Marcia Jane Tipton Wilson; son - Harry A. "Butch" Wilson; grandson - Andy Wilson; and brothers - Douglas Wilson and Francis Wilson.
His funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2012, at 3 o'clock. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, for one hour prior to the service.
