Faye Caison Mims

Eva Faye Caison Mims, 70, wife of 50 years to Heyward Mims of Moncks Corner passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016.

She was born November 1, 1945 in Berkeley County. Faye was a member of Macedonia Christian Church and a 1964 graduate of Macedonia High School. She was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and Supship. She was a charter member as well as secretary to the Palmetto Classic Thunderbird Club, she was also a member of the Coastal Classic Ford Club. Faye enjoyed nature and bird watching, she loved animals, and was a wonderful caregiver to her three cats.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a sister- Rebecca “Becky” Sparks and her husband, Larry, of Moncks Corner. She was predeceased by her mother Louise Dawkins Bailey, her father Ira Bradley Edwards and step-father John W. Caison.
