Fay (Brady) Ruediger

Fay Brady Ruediger, 86, of Alvin, widow of Heinrich George Ruediger, passed away Wednesday August 2, 2023.

Fay was born March 31, 1937 in Swansea, S.C., a daughter of Jack L. Brady and Azilea Lloyd Brady.

After graduating from Chicora High School in 1954, Fay went to work as a telephone operator with Southern Bell. After their son David was born, she became the full time pianist at church. She played for all events at Chapel of the Holy Spirit and loved southern gospel music.

Surviving is her son- David Ruediger and his wife, Lisa, of Moncks Corner; three granchildren- Savannah Ruediger Denman and her husband, Jadon; Ashlyn Ruediger and Nathan Ruediger, all of Moncks Corner; two great grandsons- Jay Denmon and Caleb Denmon; a sister- Leola Parker of North Charleston.

The family will be having a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 526 College Park Rd., Ladson, S.C..
