Evelyn White Herndon

Evelyn White Herndon, 76, widow of Franklin Eugene Herndon, Sr., passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Hanahan.

Born July 9, 1941, in Awendaw, the daughter of Woodrow Wilson White and Evelyn Tyrrell White.

Evelyn was proud to have grown up in a family, that for generations, made their living fishing commercially with nets. She enjoyed fishing and sewing. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

Surviving are two sons - Charles Herndon of Huger; Franklin Herndon and his wife, Trina, also of Huger; and a daugher - Christine Herndon of North Carolina; 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Her graveside service will be held Friday afternoon, June 29, 2018, at 2 o'clock, in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
