Ernest Lawton Rourk Iii

Ernest Lawton Rourk, III, 43 of Moncks Corner, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

Ernest was born December 19, 1974 in Charleston, a son of Ernest L. Rourk, Jr. and the late Helen Elaine Conyers Rourk.

Given this nickname as a small child, it stuck and Ernest was known fondly by all of his family and friends as “Pookie”. He was a video game fanatic who had many physical battles to overcome in his lifetime. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his father are his step mother-Debbie Rourk of Moncks Corner, his sister- Sherri Kroub of James Island and his son Ian.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
