Elizabeth "Gail" Wyndham Edwards, 62, of Moncks Corner, entered into eternal rest at her home Tuesday evening, August 28, 2012.
Gail was born September 3, 1949, in Moncks Corner, a daughter of Frampton E. Wyndham, Sr., and Elizabeth Mitchum Wyndham.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Moncks Corner, where she served as the pianist for many years. A graduate of Winthrop University, she had retired after teaching mostly fifth grade students in Beaufort schools and then R. A. Ready, Berkeley Intermediate and St. John Christian Academy in Berkeley County.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Moncks Corner, are her husband, Roy L. Edwards; brothers - Frampton "Ed" Wyndham, Jr, and his wife, Shelby, of Hoschton, Ga; Gregory Gary "Greg" Wyndham and his wife, Lauren, of Wheatland, WY; sisters - Linda W. Dupree and her husband, Harry,; and Karen W. Clontz and her husband, David, both of Moncks Corner; step son - Davis Lee Edwards and his wife, Negar, of Anderson; grandaughter - Mina Edwards; nephews - Grayson Wyndham; Brandon Clontz; Wyndham Dupree; nieces - Hope, Halee, and Hannah Dupree. She was preceded in death by her niece, Greer Wyndham.
A celebration of Gail's life will be held in First Christian Church of Moncks Corner, Saturday afternoon, September 1, 2012, at 4 o'clock.
