Doris Gorman

Doris C. Gorman, 90, of Moncks Corner, widow of Albert C. Gorman, Sr.,
died Sunday morning, September 13, 2009, at her residence.


Mrs. Gorman was born July 1, 1919, at Ridley Park, PA., a daughter of
William Meisner and Lillian Fendall Meisner. She was a member of Calvary
Baptist Church.


Surviving are two daughters - Doris Stephens and her husband, Oscar, of
Moncks Corner; and Peggy Davis and her husband, George, of Lexington, N.C.;
a son - Albert Gorman, Jr. and his wife, Kyle, of Middletown, DE; a sister -
Ruth Hires of Trainer, PA; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 9
great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


Her funeral service will be at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, August 16, 2009,
at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends
may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, from 6 until 8 o'clock
Tuesday evening.
