Doris Jean Conrad Ertzberger

Doris Jean Conrad Ertzberger, 79, of Moncks Corner, wife of Wade Hampton Ertzberger, passed away October 3, 2013, at her home.

She was born May 12, 1934, in Gastonia, NC., a daughter of the late Granville Lewis Conrad and the late Lottie Louise Hanna Conrad Gentry; and the stepdaughter of the late Ernest Gentry. She was also predeceased by her brother, David Edward Conrad.

Mrs. Ertzberger is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wade Hampton Ertzberger of the home; a son, Randall Wade Ertzberger and his wife, Carol, of Rocky Face, GA; a grandson, Philip Randall Ertzberger and his wife, Sondra, of Poulsbo, WA; and a great grandson, Donovan Randall Ertzberger of Poulsbo, WA. She is also survived by sisters, Sue Bennett Conrad Greco of St. Petersburg, FL and Toni Ann Blevins and her husband, Grady, of Bessemer City, NC; nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Her funeral service will be at Carnes Crossroads Church of God, Moncks Corner, Saturday morning, October 5, 2013, at 11 o'clock. There will be a private family burial after the service in Plantation Memorial Gardens, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at Carnes Crossroads Church of God for two hours prior to the service (9 to 11 A.M.)
