Donald Jack Cribb

June 5, 1946 — December 21, 2017

Donald Jack Cribb, 71, of Bonneau, retiree of Santee Cooper and husband of Patsy Edens Cribb, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017.

Jack was born June 5, 1946 in Moncks Corner, a son of Walter Clifton Cribb and Ella Mae Mitchell Cribb.

A 1964 graduate of Macedonia High School, Jack was a dedicated husband to Patsy for 50 years; a loving father and member of Moncks Corner United Methodist Church where he was also a member of the choir. Jack served on the Moncks Corner Town Council and was a founding member of Customs 4+2 Band; he was recently inducted into Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons- Don Cribb and his wife, Angelia, of Moncks Corner and Troy Cribb and his wife, Rebecca, of Pickens; three grandchildren- Lauren Cribb, Ryan Cribb and Sarah Cribb; brothers- Gene Cribb and his wife, Esther, of Moncks Corner and Woodrow Cribb and his wife, Betty, of Moncks Corner. He is predeceased by brother and sister in law- Walter “Junior” and Gertrude Cribb.

His funeral service will be held at Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner, Saturday morning, December 23, 2017, at 11 o’clock. The family will receive friends following the service, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
