Don Randolph Antley

Don R. Antley, 71, of Moncks Corner, retired security officer, and husband of Gertrud Volker
Antley, died Friday, June 24, 2011, in a Veterans Adminstration Hospital in Charleston.

Mr. Antley born on December 23, 1939, in Berkeley County, a son of Rufus Antley and Lucille Gladden Antley. He was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a graduate of Berkeley High School. He was a former commander of the Order of The Purple Heart, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Marion A. Felkel and her husband, Brian, of Moncks Corner; a step-daughter, Kathy Overbay and her husband, Jeff Smith of Moncks Corner; a sister, Mary Antley of Moncks Corner; a brother, Allen Antley of Hartsville; 3 grandchildren –
Tina Koyama; Melissa Rivera and Christopher Wilson; 3 great grandchildren – Amber Brooke Wilson; Nathan Reed and McKayla Reed.

Don’s funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, June 28, 2011, in RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel for one hour prior to the service.
