Dolly Ward

Dolly Jean Ward, 59, of Bonneau, wife of James M. "Jimmy" Ward, died Friday morning, December 18, 2010, in Hospice of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant.

Dolly was born Jun 24, 1950, in Moncks Corner, a daughter of Howard "Teddy" Hood, Sr. and Ruth Brinson Hood.
She was a homemaker and a Board Member of the Bonneau Volunteer Fire Department. Dolly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter - Tammy Ward-Wadford and her husband, Carl of Bonneau; a brother - Howard Hood, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Bonneau; two sisters - Julia "Sissy" Cypress and her husband, Charles, of Bonneau; and Thelma Zimmerman and her husband, Dick of Bonneau; a half-brother - Sonny Dreher of Orangeburg; a half-sister - Mary Pipkin and her husband, Sam, of Bonneau; a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service was held in Bonneau Pentecostal Holiness Church Monday morning, December 21, at 11 o'clock. Interment followed in Bonneau Baptist Cemetery directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.
