Dolan Orvin Bilton

Mrs. Dolan Orvin Bilton, 90, of Macedonia, retired secretary with Berkeley
County School System, widow of William R. Bilton, passed away
Tuesday night in a North Charleston hospital.

She was born December 22, 1918, in Berkeley County, a daughter of
Joe Orvin and Jessie Mae Wyndham Orvin.


Ms. Dolan was a graduate of Macedonia High School. She was a lifetime
member of Macedonia Christian Church. Ms. Dolan was appreciated and
loved by so many in her family and community for her many years of prayers,
service and unconditional love. She will be sadly missed by many.


Surviving are a son - Styles Orvin "Bozie" Bilton of Macedonia; a daughter -
Janice B. Hood of Macedonia; a brother - J. B."Donnie" Ovrin and his wife,
Evelyn, of Moncks Corner; 2 sisters - Gloria O. Way of Russellville; and
Q.V. Tanner Garrett of Moncks Corner; 6 grandchildren - Renae Griffin;
Melanie Hood; Michael Hood; Marnie Funk; Styles Bilton; and Scott Bilton;
12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased
by 2 brothers - Styles Orvin and Conway Orvin; 2 sisters - Bertha O. Shuler and
Beatrice O. McGregor.


Ms. Dolan's funeral service will be at Macedonia Christian Church Friday
afternoon, June 5, 2009, at 3 o'clock. Interment will follow in the church
cemetery directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, MONCKS CORNER.
Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
