David Hicks Barnette

David H. Barnette, 23, auto mechanic, of Moncks Corner, died Saturday, August 21, 2010.

David was born January 1, 1987, at Charleston, the son of David R. Barnette and Nola Dantzler Barnette.

A member of First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner, David enjoyed hunting and fishing and working on computers.

Surviving are his father and his step-mother, Judy Ann Barnette, of Moncks Corner; a sister - Carrine E. Barnette of Moncks Corner; 2 uncles - James F. Floyd of Moncks Corner; Ernest "Mike" Barnette of St. Stephen, and several cousins.

His funeral service will be on Wednesday morning, August 25, at 11 o'clock, in First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Baptist Cemetery, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Relatives and friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel Tuesday evening between 6 and 8 o'clock.
