Darlien Watson Tuten

September 12, 1947 — March 14, 2009

Cecelia Darlien Watson Tuten, 61, of Bonneau, wife of James Stanley Tuten,
entered peacefully into eternal rest at her home on Saturday morning.


Mrs. Tuten was born September 12, 1947, at Charleston, daughter of the late
Jack Watson and Roxanne Pearce Watson.


She was a graduate of Chicora High School and Lander College, receiving her
Masters Degree at S. C. State College. Mrs. Tuten was retired from the S. C.
education system, having taught at Macedonia High School, Blackville High School,
Bamberg/Earhardt High School, Berkeley High School, Timberland High School,
First St. John's Christian Academy, and the Adult Education Program in Moncks
Corner. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and a member of
Chapter 121, Order of the Eastern Star.


Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter-Jamie Joanne Tuten of Bonneau;
and two granddaughters - Arrisa and Madison Cumbee of Bonneau.


The celebration of her life will be at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Tuesday afternoon
at 2 o'clock. Friends and relatives may call at Russell Funeral Chapel in Moncks Corner
from 6 until 8 o'clock Monday evening.
