Connelly Brant, 84, of Moncks Corner, SC, former co-owner and operator of Brant’s Construction, passed away Saturday morning, September 17, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Brant was born August 10, 1938, in Ehrhardt, SC, a son of Earl Brant and Virginia Connelly Brant. He was a 1956 graduate of Chicora High School and a former Fitts and Dandridge employee. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Surviving are his children- Teresa “Terry” Brant Dangerfield of Moncks Corner; Jeffrey “Jeff” Brant and his wife, Kristi of Moncks Corner; Timothy “Timmy” Brant and his wife, April of Moncks Corner; six grandchildren- Johnny, Chelsea, Michael, Ashton, Trenton, and Dylan; six great-grandchildren- Blake, Bailey, Madeline, Joseph, Abby, and Jace; and four sisters- Hazel Lee of Summerville; Doris Gladden of Moncks Corner; Linda Brant of Summerville; and Truma Polin of North Charleston.  He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Peggy Lee Brant; three sisters- Peggy Russ, Nola Bash, and Vernell Brant; and six brothers- Lanier Brant, Bobby Brant, Freeman Brant, Furman Brant, Dilly Brant, and Buddy Brant.

His graveside service will be held at Berkeley Memorial Gardens, Wednesday morning, September 21, 2022, at 11 o'clock, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
