Cleecy (Gaskins) Lewis

Cleecy Gaskins Lewis, 96, of Jamestown, SC, widow of Eulice H. Lewis passed away July 5, 2022.

Cleecy was born July 11, 1925, in Berkeley County, South Carolina a daughter of Cleveland Ned Gaskins and Anna Rabon Gaskins.

A loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Cleecy valued time spent with her family and had a heart for caring for others. She was a wonderful homemaker and welcomed all into her home and treated them as if they were her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Mrs. Lewis will be fondly remembered by all that knew her.

She is survived by four grandchildren- Misty Gaskins and her husband Brandon Shobe of Shulerville; Danny Gaskins Jr. of Shulerville; Matthew Gaskins and his wife, Ashley of Moncks Corner; Titus May and his wife, Dana of Shulerville; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Lawtonette Gaskins of Shulerville. She is predeceased by her husband, Eulice H. Lewis, and son, Danny Gaskins.

Her service will be held at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shulerville, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow in Halfway Creek Cemetery in Shulerville, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL of Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 o’clock until the hour of service
