Christopher Shane Collins

Christopher Shane Collins, 30, of Summerville passed away Friday November 13, 2020.

Christopher was born July 1, 1990 in Cheyenne, Wyoming the son of Veronica Hayes Collins and the late Donald DeWayne Collins.

A technician for Summit Industrial Flooring in North Charleston, Chris attended Goose Creek High School and Salem Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, hike and camp. He was a wonderful fiancé, loving father and great son who will be sadly missed.

Surviving in addition to his fiancé- Kaitlyn Wood of Summerville are his mother- Veronica Collins and her partner- Sharon Bryant of Summerville; two sons- Noah Collins and Gabriel Collins; his brother Michael; grandmothers- Nina Collins and Margaret Bryant; mother in law to be- Elisha Hull; grandmother to be- Janice Cantey; Aunt- Sandra Smith; Uncle- Arthur Bryant; many other aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his Papa Vernon Hayes, Nana Edna Marie Hayes; Papa John Bryant; grandfather William Hull.

A memorial service will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Thursday evening November 19, 2020 at 7 o’clock. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 6 o’clock until the hour of service.
