Charlotte Stanley Kelley

Charlotte O’Neil Kelley, wife of Dale E. Kelley, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2011.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Richlands, N.C., the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Stanley. Charlotte married Dale on August 1, 1977; from there she spent her entire life devoted to her loving husband of 34 years, until death did they part.

Surviving in addition to her loving husband, Dale, are her daughters – Emily Kelley; Vickie Bernet; Donna Thompkins; and Brandy Plessinger; sons – Donnie Waite and Stephen Waite; grandchildren: Allie Kelley; Chelsea Mcdaniels; Zach Mcdaniels; Melaine Williams; Jamie Mccraken; Kane Thompkins; Calvin Thompkins; Sonya Miller; Marc Thompkins; Anthony Waite; Nathan Waite; Brandon Waite; and Chloe Waite; great grandchildren – Colton Thompkins, Kristi Thompkins; Catlin Miller; and Alvssa Cole; siblings – Joyce Miller; Dan Stanley; Allen Stanley; and Doug Stanley. She was predeceased by her sister – Eva Jeanette Stanley.

A visitation at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL in Moncks Corner for all friends and family will be held from 1 – 2 P.M. Wednesday, September 14. Her memorial service will begin at 2:00 P.M. After the service we will have a memorial at the family cemetery in Moncks Corner, where we will bury her ashes.
