Charles Lee Dever

Charles Lee Dever, of Goose Creek, SC, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2023. Charles was born on August 7, 1950, in Bakersfield, CA, to parents Sherman and "Bobby" Osburn Dever. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Nadya, children Sonia (Garry) Barreto, Delos (Melissa) Dever, Nathon (Shine) Dever, Seth (Christina) Dever, Alena (Craig) Hutchinson, Levi (Jessie) Dever, Ben (Jessica) Dever, as well as 24 adoring grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Charles is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Al, Joe, and Ray, sister Debbie, and son Thomas. Charles was a proud United States Air Force veteran and a dedicated truck driver in his civilian life. His interests included fishing and panning for gold, hobbies that brought him great joy and pleasure.
Charles will forever be remembered for his love and dedication to family, his service to his country, and his infectious enthusiasm for life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those that had the pleasure of knowing him.
