Charlene Callahan, of Moncks Corner, wife of Richard Callahan, passed away at her home Thursday, May 9, 2013.

Charlene was born October 17, 1950, in Moncks Corner, the daughter of Emmett Dangerfield and Alice Caddell Dangerfield.

She was a graduate of Berkeley High School, and received an Associate Degree in Medical Transctiption from Trident Technical College. She had been a medical transcriber with Berkeley Mental Health Center for 15 years and was a member of St. John's Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother and her husband, are a daughter - Jennifer Martin (Stacy) of Moncks Corner; step daughters-
Crystal Rose of Moncks Corner; Kiley White (Jim) of Moncks Corner; Amy Domaingue (Jim) of Springfield, MA; and Sheri Callahan of Springfield, MA; a son - Tim Asbury of Moncks Corner; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many adopted grandchildren; a sister - Eva Stevens of Moncks Corner; 2 brothers - Emmett "Skipper" Dangerfield (Ellen) of Moncks Corner; and Andy Dangerfield (Linda) of Smartsville, CA.

There will be a memorial service in Charlene's honor at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, this Saturday afternoon, May 11, 2013, at 2 o'clock.
