"Bill" Francis K. Williams

On January 10, 2021 Francis K. “Bill” Williams of Moncks Corner passed away after a long illness. He was born January 30, 1935 in Ithaca, New York, to Frank and Myrtle Coon Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Rhodes Williams, three children- Ronald Williams of Oregon, Margaret “Cathi” Harnage Lee and her husband, Kenneth Lee, of Moncks Corner, Joseph D. Harnage, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Harrelson Harnage, of Macedonia, grandchildren - Kelly Harnage Taylor of Pinopolis, Katelyn A. Harnage of New Bern, N.C., Caroline Lee Yeh and her husband, Yun Kai Yeh of Taipai, Taiwan, Michael Williams of Oregon, Cynthia Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Sheryl Williams of Chicago, IL.; five great grandchildren- Briley Bishop, Will Taylor and Hank Taylor all of Pinopolis and Yuri and Luc Yeh of Taipai, Taiwan. He was predeceased by his grandson, Kevin J. Harnage.

Mr. Williams was a Supervisor of Office Services and Purchasing Agent for Santee Cooper until his retirement in 1997.  He was an avid hunter and fishermen and enjoyed camping in Florida and The Smokey Mountains area. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Moncks Corner since 1978 and held many positions in the church.

He will be remembered by many dear friends, including E. Les Cooper and his wife, Wendie, Erich and Christina Fry, Jerry Foster and his wife, Lynette, Rob and Debbie Talbert, Ned and Debra Glanton and many others, all of Moncks Corner.

Mr. Williams funeral service will be held at Macedonia Christian Church, 2420 North Highway 17-A, Bonneau, SC 29431, Friday afternoon January 15, 2021 at 3 o’clock, interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 o’clock until the hour of service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
