Betty Lee Winn-Matthews, 79, of Cross, wife of Robert L. Matthews,died Saturday, June 4, 2011, in a Charleston hospital

Betty Lee was born May 29, 1932, in New Freedom, PA., the daughter of Loyd H. Shue and Laura Robert Stein Shue.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter - Karen Hilditch of Cross; and three grandsons - John Hilditch-Gottier of Cross; Fred G. Scott III of Syracuse, NY; and Gabriel Harant of Baltimore, MD.

A memorial service was held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner, Friday evening, June 24, 2011, at 7:30 P.M.
