Betty Lou (Orvin) Shepard

Betty Lou Orvin Shepard, 88, of Goose Creek, widow of Alton Ray Shepard, Sr. passed away Monday, September 14, 2020.

Betty was born August 26, 1932 in Berkeley County, a daughter of Cliff Orvin and Inez Wilson Orvin.

A loving mother and member of First Baptist Church of Goose Creek, Betty loved the Lord and enjoyed her church when she was healthy and able to attend. In recent years she spent time watching religious shows on television and enjoying visits from her family. She will be sadly missed.

Surviving are a son- Alton Ray Shepard, Jr. and his wife, Phyliss, of Goose Creek; a daughter- Sandra Anderson of North Charleston; a brother- James Orvin of North Charleston; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Betty is predeceased by a sister- Frances Butler; two brothers- Elliott Kessler and Norman Orvin.

All services will be private. Betty will be buried in Bonneau Baptist Cemetery.
