Beaulah Cameron Zeigler Talbert, 95, of Moncks Corner, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Lexington, S.C., on Friday.
Mrs. Talbert was born October 15, 1917, in Elloree, S.C., a daughter of John William Zeigler and Mary Frances Long Zeigler.
She was a graduate of Elloree High School. After living in Moncks Corner for 55 years, she had recently moved to Lexington. A member of the First Baptist of Moncks Corner, Ms. Beaulah had worked a number of years at Delta Pharmacy, Rexall Pharmacy and Wiggins Grocery Store in Bonneau from which she retired.
Beaulah had various hobbies such as collecting antiques, refinishing old furniture, sewing and cooking. During the “Relay for Life” events, she had the distinction of being the oldest cancer survivor for several years.
Surviving are her children; Robert J. Talbert of Moncks Corner; Ann Talbert Abbott of Lexington, S.C.; and George A. Talbert of Moncks Corner; and daughter-in-law, Deborah L. Talbert; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon, May 28, 2013, at Russell Funeral Chapel, at 1 o’clock. Interment will be in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Russell Funeral Chapel 2 hours prior to the service, between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM Tuesday.
