Barry Dean Biddlecomb, Ph.D, formerly of Hanahan, S.C., passed away August 20, 2014, in Athens, GA.
He is the son of Richard and Keiko "Kay" Biddlecomb of Hanahan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Martha M. Carr and a daughter, Miranda A. Biddlecomb. He was predeceased by his brother, Mark D. Biddlecomb.
Barry graduated from Hanahan High School in 1978. He was a Professor of Mathematics and the Dean of the School of Transitional Studies at Georgia Gwinnett College in Atlanta. He received a Ph.D. in mathematics education and an M.S. in physics, both from the University of Georgia, as well as a B.S. in both mathematics and physics from Furman University.
A memorial fund has been set up at Hanahan High School in memory of both brothers.

A memorial service will be scheduled later in Athens, GA.
