Arthur Gerald "Jerry" Brewer

January 5, 1940 — February 16, 2019

Arthur Gerald "Jerry" Brewer, beloved husband, devoted father, adored Pop, and steadfast brother, uncle and friend, departed this Earth peacefully on February 16, 2019.

Jerry served in the US Army and retired from Berkeley  Electric Cooperative as VP of Administration.  Jerry devoted significant time and energy to his community, through service to the Jaycees, Sertoma International, and the National Association of Home Builders. He was an active member at First Presbyterian Church in Moncks Corner where he served as a Deacon and an Elder.

Jerry was a proud graduate of Clemson University, and a member of the Berkeley Clemson Club. Jerry loved his TIGERS and wore Clemson Orange everyday in his later years.

An avid outdoorsman, Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing in the LowCountry and beyond. He belonged to the RAM Marion and Washington Hunt Clubs.  Jerry discovered golf in retirement and enjoyed playing with friends at Berkeley Country Club.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Adah Dennis Brewer, daughter Cynthia Brewer Feathers(Richard), son Brantley Gerald Brewer (Kim) and four adored grandchildren, Jackson Feathers, James Brewer, and Dorothy and Ricky Thornley.  He is also survived by a brother, Johnny Brewer(Joan), and sisters Linda Brewer Canada (Billy) and Dianne Brewer(Jimmy Ingram) and sister-in-law Adelaide (Tootsie) Dennis Kline.  In addition, Jerry is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church Moncks Corner on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 11 o'clock. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 o'clock until the hour of service.
