Anna Rebecca Pierce Williams

February 16, 1927 — September 21, 2013

Anna Rebecca Pierce Williams, 86, a seamstress, widow of Willie Roland Williams, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013, at her home.

She was born February 16, 1927, in Berkeley County, a daughter of Reverend James Pierce and Mary Mills Pierce.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Quimby Pentecostal Holiness Church and had been a Sunday School teacher for more than 50 years. She had also been a missionary with the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are a son - Willie Raymond Williams and his wife, Marie, of Cordesville; 2 daughters - Robin W. Blakely and her husband, James, of Bethera; and Rhonda Beatty of Cordesville; siblings - Pearly Litchfield; Alberta Johns and her husband, Bill; Woodrow Pierce; Cecil Pierce and his wife, Pat; Aiken Pierce and his wife, Shirley; Lewis Pierce and his wife, Lenora; George Pierce and his wife, Vickie; Mary Matthews and her husband, Jack; many grandchildren; great grand and great great grandchildren; and special friend - Reverend Helon Phillips. She was predeceased by two sons - Willie Roland Williams, Jr. and Ronald Kenneth Williams.

Mrs. Williams funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Tuesday morning, September 24, 2013, at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in Quimby Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL for one hour prior to the service.
